For us, kiteboarding is more than just a service—it’s something that’s genuinely changed lives. It creates opportunities to travel, connect with others, and experience the water in a completely new way. We’ve seen firsthand how powerful that progression can be, from someone’s very first ride to becoming fully independent and confident in all kinds of conditions. That experience is what drives WindSpot RI. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to push your riding further, our goal is to help you grow, enjoy the process, and get the most out of every session on the water.

WindSpot RI is built on a foundation of both local roots and global experience. As a Rhode Island native, Connor, our founder, has spent years traveling the world and teaching kiteboarding extensively in a wide range of conditions. Having taught in San Diego, Mexico, Turks and Caicos, the Netherlands, and here in Rhode Island, that experience has shaped the way we approach instruction—focusing on how people learn, progress safely, and build real confidence on the water. Combined with our deep familiarity with Narragansett Bay and the broader New England coastline, we’re able to deliver lessons that are both highly professional and uniquely adapted to this region.
